His works illustrate colossal scenes with well-arranged configurations of figures in his canvas. Several important religious rituals - Galungan, Ngaben and Melasti - are among the subjects of his paintings. This painter who has been participated in various exhibitions was the student of I Nyoman Tulus and I Nyoman Manggih. Born in Tebesaya, Ubud, 1950. During his old age, he moved to the outskrit of Kreneng, Denpasar. He stiil intensively paints from his place.
