About Artist I Ketut Djodjol
The Ubud style painter was born in Tebesaya, Ubud, 1940. He join Golongan Pelukis Ubud (Ubud Painters Group) established by Rudolf Bonnet in 1956. His paintings have been on displayed in Bali, Jakarta and overseas. He had several pupils. Among them was the famous I Ketut Kasta. One of his paintings with Galungan theme is collected by ARMA Museum (Ubud). He died relatively young due to illness. During he sickness, he asked his brother - I Wayan (Balik) Djudjul - to take care of his children. Later, his brother, Djudjul, married his wife.
