He has been proud to be the pupil of I Wayan Bendi, I Wayan Djudjul and I Ketut Nama, three renowed painters in his community. Warsa was born in Tebesaya, 1945. His paintings frequently illustrate legong, barong, market scene and religious ritual in the temple as his themes. He once exhibited his works in Taman Budaya (Denpasar) and Bentara Budaya Jakarta. He is an additional element for the 1990s Batuan art scene.
