I Gede Putra Udiyana was born in Denpasar on 21st December 1969. He spent his childhood in a simple family and neighborhood. He likes painting since he was a child even though  his parents are not artist. By the talent, he learn by himself and develop his skill in art painting.

On 1986 he was awarded an appreciation on paintings (Lidice Ruze Czechoslovakia). Since then he was well known as a young talented artist from Bali. This award has motivated him to improve his skill and keep his existence in producing excellent art works.

His style of paintings are abstract and primitive but he also have some paintings about Bali such as Barong and landscape.

Many tourist or reseller from Netherlands, USA, Spain, France, Korea, Japan, etc. have come to Bali and bought his paintings collection

Udiyana are actively joining painting exhibition in Bali every year.
