About Artist I Ketut Djawi
 Born in Padang Tegal, Ubud, 1958. He was a pupil of I Wayan Seranti who happened to be the mentor of I Nyoman Meja, the prominent painter from Taman. Djawi,s paintings, at first, were influenced by Serati's style. But later in 1980s, he discovered his own characteristic style. He illustrated harvest scenes complimented by beautiful figures of Balinese women.
He has been fond of illustrating posed women around compiled banten and structured yadnya. His expression is subtle and often time avoiding any contrast in the colours that he used. His paintings have been participated in various exhibitions from Bali to Jakarta.
